Students highlighted that genetically modified foods may be a vital tool for tackling global hunger due to their resistance to pests; however, many expressed concerns regarding the long-term impact on biodiversity and human health. Through their investigations, they discovered that much of the public's hesitation stems from a lack of clear information, leading them to conclude that transparent labeling is essential for informed consumer choice. Ultimately, the group agreed that while biotechnology offers significant benefits, it must be governed by rigorous ethical oversight and scientific regulation.
